4 brilliantly unique HBO Max shows to watch this week (May 26-31)

HBO Max gets most of its prestige reputation from the tentpoles it continuously delivers— among them—that dominate the charts and social media for weeks and then disappear for a year.But between those behemoths, though, HBO Max's catalog is full of unique shows that do a ton of heavy lifting, like award-winning documentaries, oddball superhero spinoffs, and cult-hit animated series.For this final week in May, I've pulled a handful of them, some new and some old, that I think you'll enjoy.
