At the time, leaker Instant Digital claimed that the iPhone 17 glass “will be made into a super-hard [anti-reflective] layer…[and] be more scratch-resistant.” The idea of an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant layer was compelling.But just one month later, reported that Apple encountered production issues that would likely result in the feature not being included after all.That was the last notable time we heard any updates.
