With ‘Star Trek: Scouts’ debuting today on YouTube, the famed franchise begins its rollout of all-new projects and activities celebrating ‘Space for Everybody’ that boldly hits warp speed this coming January.
The legendary Star Trek franchise celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2026 – officially September 8, otherwise known as ‘Star Trek Day.’ To mark the occasion, a series of new projects and product launches have been scheduled, beginning with today’s launch of the all-new YouTube series.The 60th anniversary celebrates “Space for Everybody;” additional news and announcements for the 60th will be revealed at a later date.
You can find the Star Trek 60 event hub here.Here are the highlights: All-New Original Launches on YouTube Today The brand-new, original animated YouTube-first series marks the first preschool extension of the franchise.Developed and produced by Nickelodeon Digital Studio in association with CBS Studios, follows three 8-year-old friends, JR, Sprocket and Roo, as they train to become future Starfleet Explorers by going on epic, out-of-this-world missions that push them to “discover, grow and boldly go!” Two episodes of the short-form series (3-4 min each) are available now on Nickelodeon’s Blaze and the Monster Machines YouTube channel, with the remainder of the 20-episode order continuing to roll out into next year.
