Tiny Chef Takes Over the California Academy of Sciences

Opening this past Saturday, the new planetarium film and exhibit celebrates regeneration and climate action through the beloved character’s whimsical felted lens.
Tiny Chef has taken over the California Academy of Sciences with a new 20-minute planetarium show, exhibit, and Academy-wide activations surrounding climate action from December 13 through Spring 2026.Visitors of all ages can now explore science through the plant-based chef's signature blend of humor, heart, and adorably chaotic mishaps.

The centerpiece of the takeover is the film which features Tiny Chef as he attempts to deliver a polished presentation about living sustainably and exploring new ways to protect the environment.True to Chef's style, his presentation features technological mishaps, adorable dancing, comedic running commentary, and actionable steps to regenerate the natural world.Standing just eight inches tall (6.5 inches without his signature chef's hat), Tiny Chef creates the world’s tiniest dishes from his garden tree stump kitchen.
