Not content with cleaning your home, Dyson now wants to make sure your teeth are spick and span too.The British technology firm has just confirmed the launch of a seriously smart toothbrush called the Dyson CameraJet that not only scrubs your pearly whites but also blasts away plaque at the same time.To help achieve this ultimate cleanse, it features a tiny AI-powered pixel macro camera in the head that scans your mouth as you brush.

Dyson is boasting that its bristles are able to reach a greater proportion of the tooth’s surfaceIn fact, the brush head is designed to use two bristle types: slightly firmer inner bristles remove surface stains and reveal brighter, whiter teeth, while softer outer bristles clean gently along the gumline.Continuing the smart features is full Wi-Fi compatibility, which allows the brush to connect to your smartphone.This then lets you watch live footage from inside your mouth as you brush.Through the MyDyson app, users can also access guided cleaning, how-to films, brushing and flossing insights, coverage mapping and personalised feedback.A docking station keeps the battery topped up and provides a dedicated place to hygienically store it.Along with the brush, Dyson is also launching its own toothpaste and mouthrinse to work alongside the new device.The paste offers a proprietary non-foaming action, ensuring the built-in camera can see what it’s cleaning, whilst the mouthrinse includes an antibacterial formulation designed to help reduce malodour-causing bacteria and freshen breath.The CameraJet has been six years in the making, with Dyson fine-tuning its high-tech toothbrush ahead of its launch this month.It’s on sale now, but you might need the tooth fairy to help fund it.
