In today’s world of online media, streaming is just as big as cable, if not bigger. And that means now, if you have so many streaming services to pay for, you’re most likely going to be paying the same price as cable. For a time, watching shows and movies as they came out was my literal full-time job, but as life goes, things changed, and I really had to start taking a deep look at all the services I was subscribed to and see what exactly I could cut out.
Now, months later, there are several that I actually regret canceling. Here are the four that I do think are worth the money. Apple TV So many great originals Now, hear me out.
I know that many people don’t really watch Apple TV.I must say that, out of all the popular streaming services, Apple TV is one that always feels like it's sitting under the radar because it’s not really known for its vast amount of free content from other studios. If you’re going on Apple TV, nine times out of ten, you’re there to watch an Apple TV show or movie.
But those shows and movies are SO dang good.Sometimes, as consumers, we forget just how much we actually consume each day.Whether it’s your Netflix subscription or your Hulu subscription, it always feels like they are constantly releasing new shows and movies that just keep getting worse over time.
There are so few good new streaming shows nowadays when they used to be in abundance.Apple TV has those. All of their shows (like and are so well done and have expertly crafted storylines, but no one ever really gets to talk about them.
Not only that, but their movies are also very well done.Granted, you’ll probably have to go to the movie theater once before they appear on streaming, but once they’re there, they are good.Apple has upped the game with their original content, and I must say, I love it.

From about 2021 to 2024, I watched anime almost constantly, usually on Crunchyroll, the leading platform for the genre.Whether it was – I was obsessed. But over time, my love of the genre tapered off, and I just didn’t use the platform enough to warrant paying for it.
