Prior to that travelers often suffered the experience of their airline telling them their misplaced bag was in one place while they could clearly see it was somewhere else.Apple initially named 17 airlines which had agreed to support the feature, integrating the links with their baggage-tracing systems.The rollout has been unfolding since then, with both Virgin Atlantic and American Airlines launching their support back in February.
