Why is the Echo Dot so popular?The Amazon Echo Dot is popular because it's compact, it sounds great, and it's an affordable way to get Alexa into any room of the house.
It's an ideal bedside companion, it's useful for timers when cooking, or for using voice controls in the home.The Echo Dot is easy to control with a phone, beaming Spotify to it, or just through voice, as you can ask it to play BBC Sounds to catch up on the Celebrity Traitors podcast.The only downside, currently, is that Echo Dot deals are expected to get cheaper as the 2025 Black Friday season gets underway. Technically, the Echo Dot Max was listed on 30 September for pre-order, even though it only became available this week.There are still 28 days to go until Black Friday, so Amazon could run a sale on it.But I don't think it will.In 2024, Amazon launched new Kindle devices in October, and they didn't get a discount on Black Friday.
