Apple TV+ hopes its next Ted Lasso is here with new golf comedy - 9to5Mac

Apple has had a strong spring of new TV shows, and heading into the summer there’s no slowing down.Coming next month, the golf comedy Stick looks like the next Apple TV+ attempt at striking Ted Lasso gold.New golf comedy ‘Stick’ debuts on Apple TV+ soon Ted Lasso fans have been spoiled by the abundance of other Apple TV+ shows from series co-creator Bill Lawrence.

Shrinking and Bad Monkey are both among the best shows Apple offers, but they feel fairly distinct from Lasso’s formula—especially Bad Monkey.But with Apple’s new show Stick (not affiliated with Lawrence), it hopes to have the next proper Ted Lasso-style series on its hands.Stick stars Owen Wilson and premieres with its first three episodes, followed by weekly releases through July 23.
