Anker 313 Stand is still a great budget desk charger for iPhone

Over the years, I’ve tried a ton of chargers, but a lot of them fall into the category that they’re awkward to use, overpriced, or just not reliable. The one that’s managed to stay in my life is the Anker 313 Wireless Charger Stand. It’s cheap, easy to use, and solves a simple problem I’ve encountered more times than I can count.

Why the Anker 313 iPhone wireless charger works The price is hard to beat. Most iPhone wireless charger stands that look good and actually work consistently are at least double the cost. The Anker 313 usually sells for under $20, and it still feels like a quality product.

It’s great for your desk or nightstand. You can charge your iPhone vertically or horizontally, which makes it perfect if you use Standby mode. The design is low-key and doesn’t draw attention when it’s not in use, which is something I always appreciate in gear that lives on my desk.

This iPhone wireless charger’s ease of use with one hand makes it different. You don’t have to think about lining anything up.You just drop your iPhone in the middle and walk away.

When you need to take a call or head to a meeting, you can grab your phone with one hand and go.It charges using standard Qi instead of MagSafe, which means there’s no magnetic tension when you pick it up.Depending on what you want, this is either a benefit or a drawback.

Where the Anker 313 wireless charger could improve The biggest downside to the Anker 313 wireless charger is that it still uses micro-USB.That connector is outdated and feels a bit out of place in 2025.It also doesn’t include a wall charger, which is fair at this price, but the documentation is oddly specific about what kind of adaptor to use.

It says not to use a USB-C charger, but it worked just fine in my testing. If you want to stay safe, this wall adaptor is a good match for the iPhone wireless charger and delivers full-speed charging. Some of my favorite gear Abode Home Security System Abode is the best home security system and includes compatibility with HomeKit.

The charger’s charging speed caps out at 7.5 watts, which is fine for daytime desk charging.I don’t need to go from 0 to 100 fast. This charger is more for topping off the battery throughout the day without plugging in a cable or dealing with magnets.

Again, the simplicity is the benefit here.Final thoughts on this budget iPhone wireless charger The Anker 313 is not the fanciest iPhone wireless charger. It doesn’t have MagSafe, fold up, or charge three devices at once.

But for what it does, it’s hard to beat.It charges reliably, stays in place, and allows you to grab your iPhone with one hand and keep moving. If you’re looking for a desk charger that’s affordable and just works, the Anker 313 Wireless Charger Stand is still the one I love to recommend.

You can buy it on Amazon or directly from Anker for under $20.  You’re reading 9to5Mac — experts who break news about Apple and its surrounding ecosystem, day after day.Be sure to check out our homepage for all the latest news, and follow 9to5Mac on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn to stay in the loop.
