Award-winning writer and producer Dan McGrath () passed away Friday in Brooklyn after suffering a stroke.He was 61 years old.
McGrath’s sister Gail McGrath Garabadian posted the sad news on Facebook, sharing, “We lost my incredible brother Danny yesterday.He was a special man, one of a kind.An incredible son, brother, uncle and friend.
Our hearts are broken.” McGrath began his career writing and editing for “The Harvard Lampoon” before becoming a writer for in 1991.After two seasons with the show, the creative wrote for from 1994-1994 and then for King of the Hill from 2002-2010.His other credits include , , , and McGrath is survived by his mother, siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Donations in his memory can be made to Regis High School in Manhattan, which he attended before Harvard University.
