A recent Amazon rollout brought support for adding Amazon return codes to Apple’s Wallet app—and another Amazon-Wallet improvement is coming soon in iOS 26.Amazon return codes can now be saved in Apple Wallet One of Amazon’s greatest strengths has long been the convenience of making and receiving purchases.Running low on something? With the Amazon app on iPhone, you can order more in a few quick taps and get fast delivery.
The company has gradually made the experience of returning purchases easier too.For example, you often don’t need to provide packaging or labels anymore, but can instead simply bring an opened product to a drop-off location and they’ll send it back for you.Another recent improvement to the Amazon return process involves Apple’s Wallet app.
Amazon rolled out support for ‘Add to Apple Wallet’ buttons inside its iOS app over the last few weeks. As part of the return process, instead of the standard in-app return code for drop-off locations to scan, you can now opt to save that code to Apple Wallet.Having the Amazon return code inside Wallet is nice because it shows all the details you’ll need, plus ensures you can pull up the code at just the right time without being reliant on a solid cellular connection.
iOS 26 lets you track Amazon purchases in Wallet too The Wallet app will also add support for order tracking with Amazon purchases soon.In iOS 26, Wallet’s existing order tracking feature is getting a big, much-needed improvement.Apple Intelligence can now automatically pull order information from your email inbox and save it directly in the Wallet app.
This means you’ll be able to track orders from any retailer right inside Wallet—including Amazon purchases.Wallet’s order tracking feature will send you notifications when an Amazon purchase ships, for example, or after it’s been delivered. This much-improved order tracking experience is just one of several big upgrades to Apple’s Wallet app in iOS 26.
