WEBTOON Announces 2026 Creator Program Expansion

A new suite of programs will empower more Creators with expanded monetization opportunities and international creator engagement; Creator Residency will roll out in 2026.
WEBTOON has announced a major expansion of its Creator Programs.Rolling out throughout 2026, the new suite of Creator support initiatives will include expanded monetization opportunities, new convention and event support, and new educational programming for career development.

The Creator initiatives will launch with a Creator Residency program in early 2026.New and improved monetization for CANVAS Creators will also launch in 2026, alongside a new dashboard that will make it easier for Creators to understand their series performance.More details will be shared in early 2026.

For the first time, WEBTOON will also expand its on-the-ground presence at fan conventions in select international markets outside the US, Korea, and Japan, and will host Creator meet-ups and portfolio reviews for international Creators in Europe and Southeast Asia.Digital Open Houses will be held for creators who are new to the platform, who can meet with the Creator Care and Editorial teams to discuss goals.A redesigned Creator Resource Hub will feature a new video series that highlights creator experiences and success stories.
