New Xfinity customers can lock internet pricing for 5 years | Allconnect

Comcast, the parent company of internet, TV and phone service provider Xfinity, is offering a five-year price lock option to new customers.  The  5-Year Price Guarantee plans start at $55.00/mo.for 400 Mbps.Customers who pick a price guarantee plan won’t need to worry about contracts and can cancel anytime.

They are also eligible to receive one unlimited Xfinity Mobile line at no cost for a year.Additional lines can be added for $20.00/mo.  “We’re addressing two significant consumer pain points – rising costs and transparency – with incredible value and easy-to-understand pricing that is locked in for five years,” said Steve Croney, Chief Operating Officer, Connectivity and Platforms, Comcast, in the company’s press release.  Price lock customers will get the Xfinity Gateway for Wi-Fi connectivity, Xfinity Advanced Security and parental controls through the company’s app.  The plans also come with another perk, shares Comcast: “More than 90 percent of Xfinity Mobile data traffic happens over WiFi, and now mobile customers have access to WiFi PowerBoost, which seamlessly delivers speeds up to 1 Gbps when connected to WiFi in and out of the home.” The offer ends on June 23, 2025.Check out Xfinity with Allconnect to learn more.  Written by: Robin Layton Senior Editor, Broadband Content Robin Layton is a Senior Editor for Allconnect, dedicated to helping consumers navigate the often-complex world of internet service providers.
