It was all the way back in 2023 that EE first announced the launch of its next-generation TV box.This upgraded device offers full access to live and on-demand content, includes an in-built hard disk which can store around 600 hours of recordings plus a full TV guide and support for Dolby Atmos audio and compatibility with pin-sharp 4K.At launch, it also came with a number of popular streaming apps pre-installed, including Netflix, Discovery+ and Prime Video.

That means users can now stream movies, boxsets and documentaries without needing another device plugged into their TVs.For those not aware, Disney+ includes movie content from Star Wars, Pixar, Marvel, Disney, along with series such as Welcome to Wrexham, Hell’s Kitchen and The Simpsons.Disney+ also includes Hulu access, where users will find content aimed at older audiences.Right now on Hulu you can watch movies such as Le Mans '66, Predator and The Devil Wears Prada.Article continues below ADVERTISEMENTThis is clearly a much-needed boost to the EE TV box but, unlike Sky, the BT-owned service isn’t including access as part of any plans.
