Article continues below ADVERTISEMENTO2 partners with Internet Matters to help kids stay safe online “With this 10GB data boost, our customers can spend time with loved ones streaming their favourite festive films, gaming or video calling friends and family they aren’t able to be with.It’s our way of spreading a little extra cheer this festive season and saying thank you for being on O2.”O2 suggested the free data could be used to indulge in about 20 hours of video calls to friends and family across the world over the festive period, stream 2,000 songs or watch about 4 and a half hours of Netflix or Disney+ in HD.The gift offer comes a few weeks after O2 announced it would raise its fixed annual price rise for new and existing Pay Monthly customers to £2.50, up from the previous rate of £1.80.This new charge will be applied to all Pay Monthly customer bills each April.O2 also recently said it had improved 4G and 5G coverage to more than 600 miles of Britain's roads.
