Season 2 to follow the ‘Empire Strikes Back’ formula In an interview with WHTR, Jonathan Tropper remarked on his overall approach to the show’s new season.“I always treat second seasons like ‘The Empire Strikes Back.’ Things have to get darker, deeper, more complex and the stakes have to just get bigger for everybody, and that’s kind of what we’re working on.” When to expect Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 on Apple TV+ Your Friends & Neighbors season 1 concluded in late May 2025, and season 2 began shooting while the show’s first season was still airing.As a result of the early renewal and quick start to shooting, we shouldn’t have to wait too long for a new season.
Currently, Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 seems likely to hit Apple TV+ in spring 2026.That would mean only about a 1-year wait in between seasons.Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 per month and features hit TV shows and movies like Ted Lasso, Severance, The Morning Show, Silo, and Shrinking.
