Ex-DNEG Execs Christopher Jaques, Theo Facey Launch The TWIN Group

The new, independent collective of visual experts specializes in the development and creation of high-end digital characters, supporting projects across film and episodic content, games, and virtual platforms.
Former DNEG executives Christopher Jaques and Theo Facey have launched The TWIN Group (TWIN), an independent collective of visual experts which specializes in the development and creation of high-end digital characters.TWIN aims to deliver creative, technology and advisory support for projects across film and episodic content, games and virtual platforms.

Jaques and Facey were previously Head of Creative Operations UK and Europe, and Global Head of Creature at DNEG, respectively.Jaques will now serve as TWIN Chief Executive Officer, while Facey will serve as Chief Technology Officer.Joining them is a team of UK and Europe-based visual artists, engineers and creative leaders with decades of experience.

TWIN offers a comprehensive suite of services across three core branches: TWIN Creative: Specializing in the creation of high-quality, production-ready, bespoke digital characters, fully tailored to client specifications.These characters are designed for cross-platform deployment, combining exceptional visual fidelity with full ownership and control over the digital identity.TWIN Technology: Focused on licensing a flexible, off-the-shelf digital character pipeline and technology.

This software-agnostic system enables users to produce and manage high-end digital characters efficiently, across a variety of platforms and tools.TWIN Consulting: Providing expert creative and technical consultancy for digital character development.Drawing on extensive industry experience, TWIN supports clients across all stages of production - from planning, budgeting and crewing to design strategy, creative direction and technical implementation.
