Eagly returns! New episodes of the DC Studios and Warner Bros.Television series created by James Gunn and starring John Cena debuts August 21.
HBO Max unveiled the official trailer for Season 2 during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, which featured James Gunn, John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, Frank Grillo, Tim Meadows, and Sol Rodriguez.
The series, created for television by Gunn, returns August 21.Eagly is back! Nuff said… In Season 2, Peacemaker discovers an alternate world where life is everything he wishes it could be, which forces him to face his traumatic past and take the future into his own hands.Cena stars alongside Brooks, Holland, Stroma, Agee, and Robert Patrick.
New cast members include Grillo, David Denman, Rodriguez, and Meadows.Gunn wrote all eight episodes and directed three, including the first episode.Gunn, Peter Safran, and Cena executive produce.
Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Alethea Jones also direct.Based on characters from DC, is produced by Gunn’s Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in association with Warner Bros.Television.
