Fest Anča International Animation Festival has opened its 2026 call for entries, with submissions being accepted until January 31, 2026.The Fest runs June 30 - July 5, 2026 in Slovakia.
Only short, animated films and music videos completed after January 1, 2024, and submitted with English subtitles, are accepted into the Festival’s competition program.The submission process will take place in three phases.Earlybird submissions have ended.
Submissions registered between December 1 and December 31, 2025 will be subject to a registration fee of €5 per film.Submissions registered between January 1and January 31, 2026 will be subject to a fee of €10 per film.The Anča Awards include the following categories:
Best Animated Short (€1500)
Best Student Animated Short (€1000)
Best Animated Music Video (€1000)
Best Animated Short for Children (€1000)
Best Slovak Animated Short (€1500)
