This merger lets us accelerate that pursuit with greater resources, broader reach and a unified commitment to always put artists first.” Founded in 2017, KitBash3D provides asset kits and a Cargo platform used by Marvel, Netflix, and 2K Games.Greyscalegorilla is known for its curated suite of tools, training, and photorealistic materials, which have been used by major broadcasters like NBC and ESPN, as well as advertisers like Google and Nike.Founders and executives from both companies will continue in leadership roles, forming a unified team with equal representation.

Maxx Burman and Boutté, co-founders of KitBash3D, will act as co-CEOs of the new company.Nick Campbell, who founded Greyscalegorilla in 2009, will serve as the chief innovation officer and lead product development for platforms like Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, and Blender.Drew Little, co-founder of Red Giant (which merged with Maxon in 2020), has also joined the board as Chairman.
