Avatar: Fire and Ash Trailer Shows New Clans, Creatures, and Conflicts

Discover more of the breathtaking world of Pandora… filled with wonders and dangers, in the third film in James Cameron’s Oscar-winning ‘Avatar’ franchise that pits Marine-turned-Na’vi leader Jake Sully and his family against humans, the Ash people, and nature itself; in theaters December 19.
The unseen wonders of the world of Pandora continue to amaze in the new trailer for the much delayed and even more speculated third film in James Cameron’s epic, Oscar-winning sci-fi franchise, .There’s also a new key art poster and image set below.

The fiery and dangerous return to Pandora looks even most spectacular than we had hoped for.There’s a whole new set of human adversaries including the Ash people, creatures in the air and under the waves, and deadly conflicts to gen up the action and emotion.It’s worth repeating: Cameron has never been one to under-deliver, no matter the volume of “hype” his films generate within his eager fan-base and over-charged media landscape.

Delayed nine times as the entire sequel franchise morphed in scope, scale, story and tentative release, the film is coming to theaters on December 19.Little is known of the story – 20th Century Studios has released this paltry description with a handful of images… but now we get a full trailer, epic in scale and intensity: With , James Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora in an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), and the Sully family.The film, which has a screenplay by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, and a story by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver & Josh Friedman & Shane Salerno, also stars Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass and Kate Winslet.   Once again, Joe Letteri leads the VFX production, working with studios that include ILM, Lightstorm Entertainment, Proof Inc., and Wētā FX.
