The studio veteran takes over for Lala Gavgavian as head of the company’s global VFX business, effective immediately.
Pioneering visual effects studio Digital Domain has appointed Sudhir Reddy as President of its Global VFX Business, effective immediately.Reddy succeeds Lala Gavgavian, who has been with the company for 18 years, including the last four as President and COO.
A 27-year VFX industry veteran, Reddy has spent the last 15 years at the company helping expand its international presence, including the launch of its studios in Hyderabad and managing the Vancouver and Montreal studios.He has overseen global productions for feature films, episodic content, and emerging media, earning a reputation for delivering ambitious projects worldwide.Before joining Digital Domain, Reddy held creative roles at studios in India and Flux Animation Studios in New Zealand before holding a Senior Production and Management role at Reliance MediaWorks in India and Los Angeles, managing large-scale VFX pipelines and cross-border teams.
