Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup will be unveiled in September with a variety of changes and upgrades. One highlight for the base model has been corroborated yet again today: the iPhone 17 is getting a larger display.iPhone 17 to have 6.3-inch display, up from 6.1 inches Last year, Apple brought screen size changes to two of its iPhone models: the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max got bigger.

The Pro model went from 6.1 inches up to 6.3, and the Pro Max from 6.7 up to 6.9.As far as screen size changes go, the updates were fairly minor. But considering the ongoing popularity of large-screened phones, many users likely found the increases a nice change.

This year, the base iPhone is following suit.Corroborating prior reports, today leaker Digital Chat Station posted about the iPhone 17’s screen size. The base iPhone 17 display will be increasing to 6.3 inches, the same size as the iPhone 17 Pro and last year’s 16 Pro.

Again, this will be a small bump from the 6.1-inch display in the iPhone 16.But since Apple’s base models don’t tend to receive as many updates each year as the Pro line, a larger screen will no doubt be a selling point Apple intends to use in its iPhone 17 marketing. Are you in the market for a base iPhone 17, and does getting a larger display matter to you?
