It seems that 2026 is the year that PCs shrink, and I'm fully on board with that. The Lenovo Yoga Mini Gen 11 is a system I didn't expect though. With an overall size right around that of an MX Master mouse, and enough power to actually handle some decent gaming, this mini desktop might be my favorite mini PC of the year.

Posts By Justin Duino Price and Availability The Lenovo Yoga Mini Gen 11 desktop is available to purchase directly from Lenovo at $2,087, though it is also available to buy at Best Buy without a keyboard and mouse bundled for $1,490.Specifications Brand Lenovo CPU Intel Core Ultra X7 Graphics Intel Arc B390 Memory 32GB LPDDR5X-8533, soldered Storage 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD Ports 2× Thunderbolt 4, 2× USB-C 10Gbps (one supports power input), 1× USB-A 10Gbps, HDMI 2.1, 2.5GbE Ethernet, 3.5mm audio Operating System Windows 11 Home Case Seashell, 0.65L chassis Dimension 5.12 × 5.12 × 1.91 inches (130 × 130 × 48.6mm) Weight Approximately 1.3 lb (0.6kg) USB Ports 4× USB-C and 1× USB-A Networking Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 2.5Gb Ethernet CPU Cooling Active air cooling with a blower fan PSU Included 100W USB-C power adapter Expand Collapse The Yoga Mini is almost absurdly small I couldn't believe my eyes Close I've used a lot of small computers in my time, including the Mac mini and several other mini PCs.I've never used a mini PC that felt this fast in a package this small.
For comparison, as far as a footprint goes, the Yoga Mini Gen 11 takes up only a little more room than my Logitech MX Master 4 mouse does.Literally, take the MX Master 4, make it a whole circle, and you have the size of the Yoga Mini. Not only is this system small, but it's also lightweight.
I initially felt like it was lighter than Apple's M4 Mac mini (I've not held an M6 Mac mini yet), so I looked it up, and it is—0.2 pounds lighter, to be exact.Lenovo packed some interesting features into the Yoga Mini that I didn't expect. For starters, there's an RGB LED ring on the bottom of the Yoga Mini that comes defaulted to a white/purple color that is definitely more white than purple.
But, it's not just a ring designed to add ambiance to your desk. The LED light can be used in various ways. One such way integrates with the presence detection built into the Yoga Mini, where it will softly "welcome" you when you sit at the desk.
It can also change the glow when notifications come in so you can get a visual cue when something happens on your desktop.Or, there's sound lighting where it can react to the sound in the room.Lenovo also built a fingerprint reader into the side-mounted power button, something I think Apple should have done on the Mac mini.
The fingerprint reader works great, and I think it's a fantastic addition to the Yoga Mini.USB-C power and Thunderbolt make the tiny design practical Have USB-C, will travel Close While USB-C has started taking over the world (finally), it's not all that Lenovo focused on with this tiny PC.In addition to the USB-C ports (which I'll get to in a moment), you'll also find a 2.5Gb Ethernet port, USB-A, and a full-size HDMI on the back.
Now, back to the USB-C ports. One of the USB-C ports is marked for power.Yes, this mini PC can be powered by a 100W USB-C PD charger that comes in the package, but it also works with other chargers.
For instance, I used my BMX Gansta 140W charger to power the Yoga Mini with zero problem. In addition to the USB-C port for power, there is also one Thunderbolt 4 port on the back, one Thunderbolt 4 port on the side, and another USB 3.1 USB-C port on the back for good measure. In all, there are four USB-C ports on this system, all of which have differing uses.
As a note, the power input port is actually a USB-C 10Gbps USB port, which means you could definitely hook up a USB dock to it to both power it and provide additional I/O.There’s serious computing power inside this little PC The Arc B390 makes 1080p gaming surprisingly viable Close Like I said, I've both used and reviewed a lot of mini PCs in my day, but the Lenovo Yoga Mini Gen 11 really surprised me.The Core Ultra X7 processor delivers solid performance, while the Arc B390 actually makes this a decent gaming desktop.
Yes, the Yoga Mini is a gaming desktop the size of a MX Master mouse, and I still can't believe it.Now, I wouldn't expect to run the latest Call of Duty at 4K 144Hz on ultra settings. However, in my limited gaming time with the system, I was very surprised by its performance.
Forza Horizon 5 ran on the high preset at 91 FPS at 1080p, and Forza Horizon 6 ran at 55 FPS using the same settings.I wouldn't expect the Yoga Mini to act like a full-on gaming desktop, but it game quite well for its tiny self. With the limited gaming that I do these days, which basically includes No Man's Sky and Minecraft, the Yoga Mini would actually be a very viable desktop for me.
Plus, the Arc B390 also gives the Yoga Mini a bit of a boost in video and photo editing performance, making it a solid option for creators.I had no problem running DaVinci Resolve or Lightroom on the Yoga Mini.I've never wanted to travel with a desktop so bad before in my life This is the mini PC I've always dreamed of Close Whenever I travel, I bring my 14-inch M1 Max MacBook Pro.
Not because I necessarily need the power on-the-go, but because I the option to have that much power when I travel. The Yoga Mini would actually give me more power than I need in an ultra-small form factor. The fact that it has a full-size HDMI output, as well as supports USB-C displays means I could either bring a portable monitor with me or just plug it into a hotel's TV.
Bluetooth would let me use wireless peripherals with it.Being USB-C powered means I could either bring its included 100W adapter or another plug to power it.The thought of being able to toss this tiny desktop into my travel bag and have plenty of power with me wherever I went to edit photos, videos, and even do some gaming is something I never imagined possible.
Should you buy the Lenovo Yoga Mini Gen 11? Coming in at just under $1,500 from Best Buy, the Lenovo Yoga Mini Gen 11 really is a unique machine. With 32GB of RAM and a user-upgradable 1TB PCIe SSD, there's plenty of horsepower and storage to get through even more demanding tasks.I really never felt the Yoga Mini slow down in my usage of it.
Sure, if I wanted to throw ultra-heavy 3D CAD or modeling at it I'm sure I could slow it down. But, in usage, I felt that this desktop was as fast as my Ryzen 9 7900X/RTX 3080 gaming system, and that's saying something.I think if you're in the market for an ultra-compact, yet powerful desktop, it's really hard to go wrong with the Lenovo Yoga Mini Gen 11.
It checks all the boxes for me, and, for those who don't want a Mac, it runs Windows.Lenovo Yoga Mini Gen 11 9 Brand Lenovo CPU Intel Core Ultra X7 Graphics Intel Arc B390 Memory 32GB LPDDR5X-8533, soldered Lenovo's tiny Yoga Mini Gen 11 desktop packs a punch without all the weight that typical PCs carry.About the size of the MX Master 4 mouse, this desktop offers a Core Ultra X7 processor and Intel's Arc B390 GPU to deliver solid performance in a compact form factor.
