VITURETL;DR VITURE has announced a new limited edition pair of XR glasses to commemorate five years of Cyberpunk 2077.These limited edition glasses borrow their hardware from VITURE’s recently launched Lumo Pro glasses.VITURE has also announced a new dock that extends compatibility to Nintendo Switch 2.

Earlier this week, Google showed us a glimpse of what Android XR could look like without bulky glasses covering up a part of your face. These will be light-use glasses that complement, rather than replace, standalone headsets such as the Galaxy XR.In the meantime, tethered glasses that serve as extended displays for devices such as handheld gaming devices, laptops, or iPads are increasingly popular.

VITURE is already flourishing in this segment, with more than 50% of the market share in the US.And today, it is bringing a (sort of) new product, marking its fondness for gamers.VITURE has announced a special edition of its Luma XR glasses to mark the fifth anniversary of Cyberpunk 2077’s release. These new edition glasses, created as part of an official collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED, appear to be based on the Luma Pro, which was only announced in July this year alongside three other models.

They offer similar specifications, including a 152–inch display output through Sony’s microOLED displays, a 120Hz refresh rate per eye, and a brightness of 1,500 nits.VITUREUnlike the standard VITURE Luma glasses, these special edition glasses feature a translucent frame and stem. The temples are etched with designs inspired by Night City’s aesthetic, while the end pieces feature light strips that enhance their head-turning appearance. The semi-translucent design is created by a team of designers at Cyberpunk 2077’s publishing house.

The temples can also be adjusted at different angles for better wear.Don’t want to miss the best from Android Authority? VITURE says this is a limited run with only 10,000 units, each serialized with a unique code to signify it.The glasses weigh just 79 grams, and their lightweight can be attributed to the lack of a built-in battery. The glasses come with built-in myopia correction up to -4.0 diopters.

These also support VITURE’s 3D mode, which turns any standard 2D content into 3D for an immersive viewing.VITUREVITURE Switch 2 DockAs with other VITURE Luma glasses, these limited-edition glasses offer compatibility with a broad range of source devices, including various gaming handhelds running Windows, Linux, or Android. The glasses expand support for the Nintendo Switch 2 with the VITURE Pro Mobile Dock, which costs $99 on its own and $118 in a bundle when paired with a mount for Switch 2 and a Bluetooth controller with a Switch-style button layout. The VITURE × Cyberpunk 2077 5th Anniversary Collector’s Edition glasses go on sale today and can be purchased online only via VITURE’s website for $549.
