While Apple has also unveiled its first-ever foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, pre-orders for this don’t go live until October 16.As expected, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will launch at higher prices than their predecessors, starting at £1,199 and £1,299 for the base model when buying outright.However, shoppers can still spread the cost to make them more affordable with a monthly plan, including from more budget-friendly retailers like Mobiles.co.uk.Both the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max come with significant updates compared to their predecessor.Apple says they offer 'unprecedented’ performance thanks to the new A20 Pro processor that can handle the most intensive tasks.This advanced chip allows the 18 Pro Max to run 20% faster than the 17 Pro Max, while a larger battery offers up to six more hours of video playback – a total of 43 hours.
