FOX has just shared the unfortunate news that its animated comedy, , will not be moving forward at the network, ending its run after five seasons.“We’re so grateful for everything Wendy, Lizzie, Loren and the amazing cast and crew put into ,” said Michael Thorn, President of FOX Television Network.
“It's difficult to say goodbye, but we're thankful for the five hilarious seasons brought to the iconic Animation Domination lineup.” Created and written by EPs Wendy Molyneux, Lizzy Molyneux-Logelin and writer Minty Lewis, the show follows the Alaskan adventures of the Tobin family.As a single dad, Beef (Nick Offerman, , ) does his best to keep his bunch of kids close – especially his only daughter, Judy (Jenny Slate, ), whose artistic dreams lead her away from the family fishing boat and into the glamorous world of the local mall.Rounding out the family are Judy’s older brother, Wolf (Will Forte, ); his fiancé, Honeybee (Dulcé Sloan, ); Judy’s middle brother, Ham (Paul Rust, ); and 10-year-old-going-on-50 little brother, Moon (Aparna Nancherla, ).
While the children’s mother is not in the picture, Judy seeks guidance from her new boss, Alyson (Megan Mullally, ), and her imaginary friend, Alanis Morissette (guest-voicing as herself), who appears to her in the Northern Lights.The Molyneux sisters serve as executive producers and showrunners. creator Loren Bouchard is also an executive producer.
