Telly addicts who fancy a more portable way to watch TV might fancy checking out Samsung’s latest binge-watching device.It’s called the Freestyle+, and it will get its grand unveiling at next week’s CES technology show in Las Vegas.Samsung already has a mini Freestyle portable projector, which launched all the way back in 2022, but the all-new plus version appears to be taking things up a notch with Samsung promising improved AI capabilities, brighter visuals and expanded entertainment features.

Article continues below ADVERTISEMENTAI OptiScreen also includes a set of intelligent features designed to automatically optimise the picture across different surfaces and environments.There’s even a function called 3D Auto Keystone, which automatically corrects distortion even when projecting onto uneven or non-flat surfaces, such as corners, curtains or angled walls, and Real-time Focus continuously adjusts focus as the projector moves or rotates.Another nice bonus is Screen Fit.This instantly tweaks the image to match the screen area when used with a compatible projector screen accessory.Article continues below ADVERTISEMENTFinally, there’s Wall Calibration, which can analyse the colour or pattern of the projection surface and minimise visual distractions for clearer viewing.
