Samsung gives Windows 10 users new reason to ditch their laptops for good

Anyone still using Windows 10 might finally be convinced to try something new.Earlier this week, Dell announced the launch of a new XPS range of laptops, which feature a striking new look, more power and very long battery life.Now Samsung is back with a big update to its popular Galaxy Book products.

To make sure Samsung's new laptops don't get hot during those intensive workloads, the Korean firm has also introduced a new fan design and a vapour chamber, which both help to distribute heat more evenly.Article continues below ADVERTISEMENTThanks to the new Intel chips, improved cooling and better efficiency, users could get as much as 30 hours of battery life before needing to charge.Other extras include pin-sharp AMOLED touch displays, a premium design that's built to survive life on the road and smart AI aimed at boosting productivity.Those buying the Galaxy Book6 Ultra will also be treated to six speakers that are powered by Dolby Atmos.Article continues below ADVERTISEMENTThese include four force-cancelling woofers and two tweeters that deliver high octaves and powerful bass for crisp and clear room-filling sound.
