Alongside iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS Golden Gate, Apple today released new software for the HomePod and HomePod mini.HomePod Software 27 adds AirPlay improvements and support for AutoMix when listening to Apple Music.HomePod software can be installed on the Home app on the iPhone, iPad, or Mac by selecting on the More button, choosing Home Settings, and then using the Software Update option.
If automatic updates are turned on, the new HomePod software will be installed automatically.
