New on Android Features rolling out to the Android ecosystem We’ll start with the new features for Android users in general.As rumored last week, you can now share your live location directly within a Google Messages chat.It was previously possible to share a specific location through a Google Maps link.
Now, you can share your real-time location thanks to Find Hub, and you have the ability to set a time limit for how long your location is shared.Sticking with Find Hub, if your luggage goes missing, you can share a tracking link from your tag directly with a participating airline so they can help find it.Google announced this feature nearly a year ago, and we’re still waiting on the luggage with built-in Find Hub support from July, Mokobara, and Peak.
Last year, the Phone by Google app got a nifty feature called “Calling Cards.” It lets you create a Caller ID screen for anyone in your contacts with a full-screen photo, custom font, and colors.Now, that feature is being flipped around, so you can design the Calling Card that your friends will see when you call them.Lastly, Android Auto is getting teacher-approved games that you can play while parked.

You can now use “Find the Look” to find each individual piece in an outfit with a single search.If you're wondering how the clothes might look on you once you’ve found them, the "Try It On" feature is now available from Circle to Search as well.Next up is some love for widgets.
The “At a Glance” widget on the home screen and lock screen will now show real-time transit updates, including delays and alternative routes.Sports scores from your favorite teams and stock updates will also now show up here in real time.Announced last month, Gemini can now handle multi-step, repetitive tasks for you.
It’s still somewhat unclear how this actually works, but Google gives a couple of examples.You could ask Gemini to book a ride home or reorder your last meal delivery.These types of tasks require the same process every time, and Gemini handles it for you in the background.
Here’s a quick rundown of some other features to note."Now Playing" finally gets its own app.The Pixel’s excellent Scam Detection feature is expanding to France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Germany, and Japan.
Meanwhile, the Pixel Watch can automatically lock your phone if you walk out of range.You can create custom AI-generated icons to give your home screen a consistent aesthetic.Be on the lookout for all of these features to hit your Android and Pixel devices this month.
